Rolling a kayak can be tricky

Have you ever tried rolling a kayak with no success? I do believe this is the hardest thing to learn in kayaking. I have learned that most all kayaks can be rolled under the right circumstances. There has to be much will power of the kayaker to roll the kayak. I have learned through experience the key to getting the kayak to roll is all in the snap of your hips while rolling up to give the boat that extra boost to sit back right side up. ">

Did you know the best enders are located in the smallest looking of rushing white water? I find the place where the water is rushing between the rocks without many air bubbles and drop the nose of my kayak in where the water is rushing through that space. When I do this almost always the pressure of the water will push the boat down to where I go from sitting in the boat to standing on the foot pegs or bulk head foot rest. Take a kayaking trip on the lake. Just be sure to not use a whitewater kayak to do that. I had a wonderful idea to paddle down the whitewater river until it dumped into the lake. Only one problem, I didn't realize that I was going to be paddling 2 miles in the flat lake water with a flat bottom white water kayak. I believe I completed an Olympic workout after I made it back to the truck.

Crowded Grocery Store Shopping

Have you left for the grocery store only to find it so full of people. You look around and there are very few grocery shopping carts to use to pick up just a few items. You wait by the produce section, then wait by the bread section until everyone in front of you gets the items they were picking out and then you finally meander your way to the checkout only to wait in line. Hoping that a clerk or the cashier manager will open some more lanes to check out.
