White Water Kayaking is a fun, adrenaline rush water sport. I can compare it to a roller coaster ride in water that has a mind of its own. It is very important to learn how to read the water in order to stay out of trouble be it stuck on rocks or stuck in a class VI rapid, which can be worrisome. I love the adrenaline rush that is associated with kayaking. I self taught myself how to roll and just improved it with practice. How did you learn how to roll?
Take a kayaking trip on the lake. Just be sure to not use a whitewater kayak to do that. I had a wonderful idea to paddle down the whitewater river until it dumped into the lake. Only one problem, I didn't realize that I was going to be paddling 2 miles in the flat lake water with a flat bottom white water kayak. I believe I completed an Olympic workout after I made it back to the truck.
